The Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center is a non-profit educational facility designed with the purpose of providing the youth of Georgia with a site for leadership and career development. Started in 1937 as an FFA Camp for rural youth, it has evolved into a premier camp facility and conference center for the FFA and FCCLA Organizations, as well as many other youth and adult organizations.

GWF began as a sportsman's organization in 1936 and since then we've grown to become Georgia's oldest and largest conservation organization. Today, our members include bird watchers, hunters, anglers, educators, gardeners, hikers - a diverse group of individuals united by our concern and compassion for the environment.

It is the mission of GKFF to use the kayak fishing experience as a vehicle to stimulate increased awareness, knowledge, preservation and protection of the natural environment of our state and region.
We will...
- Use kayak fishing as a tool to promote public awareness and education about the natural resources of Georgia including our rivers, streams, lakes and coastal waters.
- Engage a diverse population including students, young people, veterans, soldiers and their families in outdoor experiences that help them acquire leadership skills, gain respect for themselves and the environment, while developing positive relationships with their peers and community members.
- Volunteer to assist governmental, environmental, and community agencies in conducting research projects, waterway monitoring, clean up and other activities that have a positive impact on the natural resources and environment of Georgia.
- Use kayak fishing as a rehabilitative tool for wounded and injured servicemen and women who are stationed in Georgia.
- Promote increased public access to waterways and coastal regions by working with City, County, Regional, State, Federal and community agencies.
