For Our Kids, For the Environment, For Fun

Preserving Georgia's Outdoor Heritage

Georgia Kayak Fishing is proud to join with our corporate partners to bring you the 2010 Georgia Kayak Fishing Tournament Trail and Festivals. The charity events are benefiting non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting Georgia's outdoor heritage and bringing Georgia's youth in closer communion with the outdoors.

GKF believes kayak fishing and related activities helps to facillitate intimate experiences on Georgia's waterways fostering a deeper appreciation for nature and promoting a culture of environmental stewardship and responsibility.

Your support and participation in the 2010 Tournament Trail and Festivals helps us fulfill that mission and provide financial support to other Georgia Charities that share the goal of a safer, cleaner Georgia and a culture of environmental responsibility.

The Tournaments

Beginning at Lake Harding just outside Columbus, moving to the North Georgia Mountains for spring, off to the Coast of Georgia for summer and landing in Georgia's Lake Country for the fall finale, the 2010 Georgia Kayak Fishing Tournament Trail incorporates some of the best fresh and inshore saltwater fishing in the country.

Kayak anglers from around the country will be challenged, excited and rewarded as they seek to be crowned 2010 Georgia State Kayak Fishing Champion and take home the $7,000 value in cash and prizes for the first place winner.

The Festivals

Each tournament will be accompanied by a Festival focused on outdoor living and water recreation. There will be Kayak Demos, Arts & Crafts, Food, Games and much more for the entire Family to enjoy.  With so much to see and do, there promises to be something for everyone to enjoy!
